the 911 commission should have at least mentioned the incident in its definitive report [bugmenot login]. congressman curt weldon "upset by suggestions earlier Wednesday by 9/11 panel members that it had been not been given critical information on Able Danger's capabilities and findings" refutes any such suggestion by citing able danger staff briefings.
but yet again, this only further crystallizes the difficulty in intelligence gathering and/or criminal investigations as information may remain difficult to cull through even with the benefit of hindsight.
